Entrepreneur, TV host, and Certified Chef Shelly Meyer brings bold, uncompromising flavor to everything she touches. As the culinary force behind Shelly’s Game Kitchen, she treats viewers to her incredible home-cooked recipes. First airing on the ROKU Eat This TV Network in 2021, the show transitioned to CarbonTV in 2023 and is now available across multiple streaming platforms.
Shelly’s professional journey began in 2000 with a catering business she ran with her husband, Brad. Together, they went on to own and operate Bradley O’s Steakhouse from 2005 onward. It was here that Montana Flavor's flagship Steak Seasoning and Seasoned Salt were born—perfected not in a corporate lab, but over a decade of serving steakhouse patrons. Additional signature blends were later developed, tested, and loved by clients over 10 years in Shelly's private chef business.
Never one to take the easy route, when the restaurant eventually closed, Shelly doubled down on her passion. She attended culinary school, graduating at the top of her class at age 50.
Today, as a mother-and-son chef team, Shelly and her son, Hunter, continue to build that legacy through the Montana Flavor spice company. Her signature blends are recognized globally, with her Espresso Rub taking a respectable 2nd place in the 2022 International Flavor Awards, followed by a win for her Fish & Seafood seasoning in 2023.
Beyond her work in front of the camera and managing a growing brand, Chef Shelly has transitioned her focus toward the future of Montana Flavor. While she previously served as a preferred private chef for guests of Chief Joseph Ranch (the iconic filming location of the hit series Yellowstone), she now reserves her elite culinary services for a highly select few.
When she’s not running the business, Chef Shelly thrives on DIY construction—specifically sledgehammer demolition! She and Brad have remodeled every room in their home, a process that culminated in their most ambitious project yet: a high-end, covered outdoor kitchen. Completed in 2025 and outfitted with premier grilling equipment, this stunning space serves as the primary set where Season 5 of Shelly’s Game Kitchen is currently being filmed.
As a family, they enjoy traveling, dining out, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing. Naturally, cooking together remains at the center of it all, and their annual pig roast for friends and family is a much-anticipated event.
